All students are expected to abide by all rules and regulations established by the DSU Digital Film Faculty and Staff. Your first check out requires signing a liability waiver and a sign up on Airtable with your Dmail email address. Failure to comply with these will result in the inability to rent from the cage.
1. USE OF DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT/FACILITIES:
Department equipment and production/post-production facilities are to be used for class projects and DSU Film Club ONLY. DSU Film students are prohibited to allow anyone, other than fellow classmates, to handle, store, or operate department equipment. Before checking out equipment for the first time you must meet with Ben Braten to discuss your camera level. You will also be asked to sign a rental contract.
2. EQUIPMENT AND FACILITY RESERVATIONS
Send in your reservation requests at least 3 days (72 hours) prior to checking-out equipment. The 72-HOUR RULE will be enforced. The earlier you get your request in, the more likely it will be fulfilled. All capstone projects must have requests in 1 week in advance due to the complexity of Capstone shoots and Capstone shooting season. We can not guarantee gear otherwise. A member of the cage will respond with a confirmation to your booking. If you do not hear anything within 24hrs through the working week contact Henryk 714-471-2382. Names of all shift workers and their cell phones are also listed on the door of the cage. DSUCageWarrior@gmail.com
